Commercial Carpet Squares

These carpet tile collections feature square meter carpet squares that can be assembled in a great many different ways. Similar to a blockchain, each square is like a node, and the design on the tile connects to all adjacent nodes, no matter which way it's rotated. This attribute allows different patterns to be created in different areas of the installation, or there can be no pattern at all by randomly rotating the tiles during assembly. Patterns are created by grouping tiles together with specific rotations and repeating the group.

They are installed without glue on the concrete or plywood subfloor. The tacky back prevents the carpet tiles from sliding around, yet allows them to be lifted so that you can rotate them around in order to change the overall design. They are commercially rated for maximum use and performance.

 1. To begin, sweep the concrete or wood unfinished subfloor to remove any dust and debris. The high-friction coating on the back of each tile has the best longevity when free of dust. Do not use additional adhesives nor mats during assembly, just set the tiles directly on the clean floor. Either begin in a corner or the center of the room, depending on your design intentions.

 3. It is usually necessary to cut tiles at the perimeter of the room, unless they happen to fit perfectly. Using a basic utility blade and a straight edge, flip the tile over and begin a long, gentle cut. Repeat several times if needed, until the tile can easily fold. It is not necessary to try to cut all the way through to the yarn in one motion. Use care to avoid injury.
